Air Canada inaugurates daily non-stop Calgary-Whitehorse and Calgary-London, ON flights

    CALGARY, June 1 /CNW Telbec/ - Air Canada today inaugurated two new
non-stop services from Calgary, with the introduction of the only daily,
non-stop flights to Whitehorse, as well as new daily non-stop flights to
London, ON.
    "Air Canada is delighted to launch two new non-stop services from Calgary

expect our new Whitehorse service to be popular with travellers looking to
enjoy the vast array of unique leisure opportunities offered in the Yukon. Our
Calgary-Whitehorse flights are timed to be especially convenient for customers
connecting from eastern Canada. We also expect our new non-stop flights from
Calgary to London, ON to be particularly popular with both business and
leisure travellers alike travelling to and from the Southern Ontario region.

growth opportunities."

    Calgary-Whitehorse:

    Air Canada flight AC8231 departs Calgary at 11:15, arriving in Whitehorse
at 13:00. Air Canada flight AC8232 departs Whitehorse at 13:35 and arrives
back in Calgary at 17:15. Flights have been timed to offer convenient
connections to and from Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. Flights are operated by
Air Canada Jazz onboard 75-seat CRJ-705 aircraft offering a choice of
Executive or Economy Class service, featuring individual seatback
entertainment throughout the aircraft. Air Canada's Calgary-Whitehorse flights
complement the airline's three daily Vancouver-Whitehorse flights.

    Calgary-London, ON:

    Flight AC1146 departs Calgary at 18:05, arriving in London at 23:45.
AC1147 departs London at 07:30, arriving in Calgary at 09:40. Flights are
operated onboard 93-seat Air Canada Embraer 190 aircraft offering a choice of
Executive or Economy Class service, and are timed to offer convenient
connections in Calgary to and from key cities in Western Canada.
