Air Canada inaugurates new daily non-stop seasonal service between Toronto and Sydney, Nova Scotia

    MONTREAL, May 1 /CNW Telbec/ - Air Canada inaugurates today new daily
seasonal non-stop service between Toronto and Sydney, Nova Scotia.
    "We are pleased to launch non-stop regional jet summer service between
Toronto and Sydney, providing a faster link between Cape Breton and more
cities across Canada, North America and Asia through conveniently timed
connections in Toronto," said Marcel Forget, Vice President, Network Planning,
Air Canada. "We expect this new service will be particularly popular among
travellers seeking the vast choice of vacation opportunities that Cape Breton
Island has to offer."
    Air Canada flight AC8794 will depart Toronto at 20:35 and arrive in
Sydney at 23:59. Air Canada flight AC8795 will depart Sydney at 07:00 and
arrive in Toronto at 08:45. Flights will be operated by Air Canada Jazz
onboard 50-seat CRJ jet aircraft.
    This summer, Air Canada will offer up to six daily flights to/from
Sydney, Nova Scotia including up to five daily flights to Halifax and one to
Toronto. Air Canada has timed its Sydney-Toronto service to offer excellent
connections to and from major cities across Canada, North America and Asia.
