clarification to information contained in an analyst report by Canaccord Adams
received today:
    Air Canada confirms that its January 2009 Revenue per Available Seat Mile
(RASM) was -0.9 per cent and that its preliminary estimate for February 2009
RASM is approximately -4.4 per cent, each compared to the same period in the
previous year.
    The marketplace continues to be highly competitive.
