Air Canada Jazz launches two new routes from Calgary, inaugurates non-stop services to Prince George and Seattle

    CALGARY, June 1 /CNW Telbec/ - Air Canada Jazz today inaugurated two new
non-stop flights from Canada's energy center to Prince George, BC and to
Seattle, WA. Jazz operates both services with 50-seat, made-in-Canada,
Bombardier CRJ regional jet aircraft.
    "Air Canada is strategically introducing new services, responding to
strong travel demand to and from Canada's energy center in Calgary," said
Daniel Shurz, Vice President, Network Planning. "With these latest schedule
enhancements, our customers will enjoy more non-stop choices, and more
opportunities to use our growing suite of flight passes for convenience and
savings."

    Calgary-Prince George: The daily flights depart Calgary at 12:45,
arriving in Prince George at 13:05. Flights depart Prince George at 14:15,
arriving in Calgary at 16:30. This new flight is the only non-stop service
between Calgary and Prince George.

    Calgary-Seattle: twice daily flights depart Calgary at 09:10 and 18:00,
arriving in Seattle at 09:40 and 18:30 respectively. Flights depart Seattle at
10:10 and 19:00, arriving back in Calgary at 12:30 and 21:20 respectively.
Seattle is the sixth year-round, non-stop destination in the United States
served by Air Canada and Jazz from Calgary.

    Jazz operates a fleet of 58 CRJ-100/200s.

    Air Canada and Jazz have proudly served western Canada longer than any
other carrier. From Calgary, the carriers offer nonstop service to
30 destinations across Canada, the US, Caribbean and Europe with 794 scheduled
flights to per week.
